Welcome from CEA President Beverly Ingle

CEA President Beverly Ingle

Greetings! And welcome to Pathways to Achievement, the Colorado Education Association’s new blog. In the coming weeks and months, we’ll share with you what’s going on with CEA, our philosophy on 21st Century Skills and Teaching, and we’ll bring you profiles of some outstanding teachers as well.

We believe quality teaching is the foundation for a quality education in Colorado. We must equip our teachers with adequate funding, a good work environment, and continued training to meet the demands of the ever-changing 21st century. We look forward to sharing our thoughts with you on what we believe are the best pathways to achievement.

We want this blog to be a place where we share our thoughts on education, but a space where you can interact with us too. We’re interested in hearing from you and welcome you to join us in the comments section under our posts, or email us at ceawhatworks@gmail.com. We welcome your thoughts, questions and suggestions, and look forward to interacting with you.

Here’s to a healthy and prosperous 2010! Welcome to Pathways to Achievement!

  3. I love the idea of engaging and informing our members on issues that matter to us all. This may prove to be especially important during the 2010 Legislative Session.

  4. Go team! Go Beverly!

  5. Beverly, I am trying madly to get in touch with you! You made a huge impact in my life in 3rd and 5th grade, had a wonderful dinner with you when I started teaching (10) years ago, and now I need your advice and guidance. Hope this finds you…
